Lessonly: A Tool for Better Learning

A few weeks ago, I had the opportunity to attend the inaugural Lessonly user conference, Yellowship. What an incredible few days in Indianapolis filled with learning, networking, keynotes, and breakouts—with the overall theme to Do Better Work

.

The concept of working better (together) resonates deeply with the Dividend team, as every day we have the privilege of partnering with over 700 of the best solar/home improvement installation and sales teams across the nation. Like Lessonly, the better partner we can be to our network, the more success we will all see together. That’s why we wanted to share a little bit about this Indy-based SaaS learning company.

For those not familiar, Lessonly was created with hopes that organizations would find the training software simple to implement and manage (which is what we at Dividend came to learn over 2 years ago). Flash forward to 2018, they are an international leader in the industry with over a million learners trained and are working with 500+ companies worldwide.

At Dividend we’ve had an excellent experience with the Lessonly team and platform, having created lessons for our partner network that cover everything from our Financing products and use of the Partner Portal, to Advanced Sales Trainings and NABCEP Prep Courses. Some of our partners have loved our lessons so much, they’ve gone on to adopt Lessonly themselves.

Marketing Director at Apex Solar Power and Lessonly guru Ben Sopczyk explains, "We’ve used Lessonly for quite some time now, specifically with the sales team during onboarding and ongoing industry trainings. The platform is easy to use and effective, allowing us to create lessons around critical announcements for the team. We can then track completions of trainings, giving the management team great insights—and creating a sense of accountability for each rep. Best of all, each training gives our team a reference point for them to come back to if they ever need a refresher."

After attending Yellowship, I’ve learned that Lessonly is a great tool for a number of different use cases.
