Dividend Launches Free NABCEP PV Associate Exam Prep for Partners

The training course consists of approximately 30 hours of self-paced online training, which typically costs $300 to $1,000. With its commitment to innovative practices and the highest industry standards, Dividend chose to make this course free to its Partner

network who are focused on continuous improvement. The new course was developed by Dividend Fleet Manager, Doug Soester, a NABCEP Certified PV Installation Professional who has trained thousands of solar professionals across the country over his career as a solar training leader.

Dividend launches its training platform the week of NABCEP’s annual training conference in Dallas, TX. Along with the training launch, several of Dividend senior staff are leading education sessions including NABCEP board members, Andrew Truitt and Kristen Nicole.

Now accessible through the EmpowerPortal, this resource provides a comprehensive overview and exam prep for solar professionals qualified to sit for the NABCEP PV Associate Program Exam. The prep course, which encompasses video lectures and presentations, sample questions and tests focused on solar energy fundamentals, can be started at any time.

The NABCEP Associate Program is intended for those in the renewable energy industry, including students in renewable energy programs, workers at an early stage in their renewable energy career, experienced professionals who have just begun offering renewable energy products or services, and employees in renewable energy jobs for which there is no professional certification. Further, it recognizes individuals who have demonstrated knowledge of the fundamental principles of the application, design, installation and operation of photovoltaic, solar heating or small wind energy systems.
